Signs of Cold Stress in Pearl acacia
Symptoms
Pearl acacia is resilient to cold and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 59℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. Should the temperature drop below 41℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, branches could become fragile and parched by spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
During spring, remove any lifeless branches that have not developed new foliage.
Signs of Heat Stress in Pearl acacia
Symptoms
In summer, Pearl acacia should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, their tips could dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove the sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric to provide cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
