Ideal Temperature for Copperleaf

Signs of Cold Stress in Copperleaf
Symptoms
Copperleaf favors warm conditions and cannot withstand cold. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it should be maintained above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, foliage may lose some color. Following frost damage, the leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping might appear.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection against cold. Select a location near a south-facing window for the plant, ensuring abundant sunlight. Furthermore, avoid positioning the plant near heating units or air conditioning vents to prevent overly dry air.
Signs of Heat Stress in Copperleaf
Symptoms
In summer, Copperleaf should be kept below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the leaves' color fades, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Prune off any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to an area that offers protection from the midday and afternoon sun. Water the plant during the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
