Signs of Cold Stress in Lady's mantle
Symptoms
Lady's mantle tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures are above 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, while no immediate winter damage might be visible, spring sprouting could be reduced or absent.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Heat Stress in Lady's mantle
Symptoms
During summer, Lady's mantle should be maintained below 70℉. When temperatures exceed 77℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in extreme cases, the whole plant may wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
