Signs of Cold Stress in Candelabra aloe
Symptoms
Candelabra aloe flourishes in warm conditions and cannot withstand cold. Optimal growth occurs when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, the plant may weaken, wilt, and become susceptible to root rot. Minor frost damage might not show immediate signs, but the plant will progressively decline after about a week.
Solutions
Prune away frost-damaged sections, checking for root decay. If roots are rotted, remove them, and the plant can be propagated from cuttings. Promptly relocate indoors to a warm setting, positioning the plant near a south-facing window for abundant light. If natural light is insufficient, consider using supplementary lighting.

Symptoms
In summer, Candelabra aloe should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's development will halt, it will dehydrate, wilt, and be more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Remove any sunburned or decayed portions. Protect the plant from direct afternoon sun until it recovers and resumes growth. For plants with root rot, cease watering until new roots start to form.
