Signs of Hot Temperatures in Showy milkweed
Symptoms
During summer, Showy milkweed should be kept below 80℉. When temperatures exceed 90℉, the plant's leaves may lighten, curl, be prone to sunburn, and in severe cases, the whole plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
