Signs of Cold Stress in Indian shot
Symptoms
Indian shot tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 41℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, a reduction or complete absence of sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Indian shot
Symptoms
During summer, Indian shot should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the entire plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
