Ideal Temperature for Asthma-plant

Asthma-plant favors warm conditions and cannot withstand cold. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 59℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, foliage may lose its vibrant color. Following frost damage, leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping might appear.

Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection from the cold. Position the plant near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or AC vents to prevent overly dry air.

In summer, Asthma-plant should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the leaves' hue lightens, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.

Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to an area offering shade from the midday and afternoon sun. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
