Signs of Cold Stress in Indian blanket
Symptoms
Indian blanket tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 70℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 60℉. If temperatures drop below 50℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted successfully.
Signs of Heat Stress in Indian blanket
Symptoms
In summer, Indian blanket should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
