Signs of Cold Stress in Treasure flower
Symptoms
Treasure flower thrives in warmth and cannot withstand cold. It flourishes best when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, its leaves might lose some color. Following frost damage, the foliage progressively browns or blackens, and signs like wilting and drooping can appear.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection against cold. Position the plant near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or AC vents to prevent overly dry air.
Signs of Heat Stress in Treasure flower
Symptoms
In summer, Treasure flower should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the leaves' hue fades, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Relocate the plant to an area that offers protection from the intense midday and afternoon sun. Hydrate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
