Signs of Cold Stress in Sneezeweed
Symptoms
Sneezeweed tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures are above 68℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Sneezeweed
Symptoms
In summer, Sneezeweed should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, plant leaves might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
