Signs of Cold Temperatures in Oxeye daisy
Symptoms
Oxeye daisy tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 30℉, while winter might show no immediate effects, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of High Temperatures in Oxeye daisy
Symptoms
During summer, Oxeye daisy should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sun damage, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
