Signs of Heat Stress in Tall Fescue
Symptoms
In summer, Tall Fescue should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
