Ideal Temperature for Peach
Images of Peach
Indications of Low Temperature in Peach
Symptoms
Peach tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 55℉. If the temperature drops below 45℉, even if no immediate changes are seen in winter, branches might become fragile and dry in spring, preventing new growth.
Solutions
During spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.
Indications of High Temperature in Peach
Symptoms
In summer, Peach should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, their tips could dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
