Signs of Cold Stress in Shingle oak

Shingle oak tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.

Symptoms
During summer, Shingle oak should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, their tips could dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
