Signs of Cold Stress in Lemonade Berry
Symptoms
Lemonade Berry tolerates cold moderately and flourishes best when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 45℉. If the temperature drops below 35℉, leaves might begin to sag. Mild cases can recover, but severe cases lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before further cold exposure, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and build a windbreak to shield it from chilly gusts.
Signs of Heat Stress in Lemonade Berry
Symptoms
In summer, Lemonade Berry should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, leaves lighten in color, tips may dry and shrivel, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Prune off any sunburned and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
