Indications of Low Temperature in Painted trillium
Symptoms
Painted trillium tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 45℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, there could be reduced or absent sprouting in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Indications of High Temperature in Painted trillium
Symptoms
In summer, Painted trillium should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the entire plant could wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried-out portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
