Signs of Heat Stress in Stinging nettle
Symptoms
During summer, Stinging nettle should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in extreme cases, the whole plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to keep the soil hydrated.
