Forest elder

Forest elder (Nuxia floribunda)

Forest elder, also known as Wild elder

Forest elder (Nuxia floribunda) rewards ornamental growth with large clusters of fragrant flowers from fall until springtime. These flowers are very attractive to bees. This tree also has an interestingly twisted trunk that makes it a stand-out feature tree for tropical gardens. A shady location is required, however, since it does not grow well under direct sunlight.
